The Office of Investment Security (OIS) fulfills Treasury’s responsibilities as Chair of CFIUS. In a role at OIS, you would work on policy, legal, and operational issues at the nexus of national security, emerging technologies, and international economics and finance.

Career Tracks

• Deputy Director: Oversees portfolio execution and cross-office coordination for CFIUS casework and policy initiatives.
• Senior Policy Advisor: Leads analysis and recommendations on complex national security and investment screening issues.
• Policy Advisor: Supports reviews, policy development, and interagency coordination.
• Policy Analyst: Conducts research, drafting, and program support across OIS offices.

Applicants may be selected for one of OIS’s offices, depending on vacancies: the Office of Reviews & Investigations, the Office of Compliance & Enforcement, the Office of Non-Notified Detection & Response, the Office of Policy & International Relations, and the Office of Research & Analysis.
