The CFIUS Case Management System (CMS) is the secure online portal used to file draft and formal written notices, declarations, and related transaction materials under 31 C.F.R. parts 800 and 802.
Beginning June 1, 2020, parties are expected to use CMS for CFIUS submissions. If CMS is temporarily unavailable for a time-sensitive filing, parties should follow instructions from their CFIUS points of contact.
Getting Started
1. Register for ID.me
CMS uses ID.me for identity verification. Before accessing CMS, users should create an ID.me account and complete identity verification steps required for Treasury systems.
2. Sign in to CMS
After creating an ID.me account:
- Go to the CMS portal sign-in page.
- Select
ID.mewhen prompted. - Authenticate with your registered account credentials.
3. Submit and Track Filings
CMS supports:
- Declarations
- Notices
- Real estate notices and declarations
- Case correspondence and information requests
